The White Rhino is most easily distinguished from its cousin the Black Rhino by its mouth, which is broad and adapted for grazing. The Black Rhino’s upper lip is pointed and adapted for browsing on leaves on low growing bushes.

Both species are sadly depleted by poaching for their horns, valued in some parts of the world for medicinal purposes.

It is about 5 inches tall and is mounted on a polished burlwood slab about 9 inches long.

PLEASE NOTE: these photos are of samples for illustration only. Each burl slab is a unique piece of nature's art so the one you will receive will be different but of similar size and comparable beauty.

It is hand molded in a durable polyurethane resin and airbrushed a slightly dusty white/grey.

It is SIGNED and comes with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY.
