Hammerhead Shark Duo Sculpture Pellucida 7in Tall on Burlwood

Hammerhead are perhaps the most bizarre yet elegant of sharks. Their extraordinarily widened heads are thought to house organs of smell that provide stereoscopic “smellivision,” enabling it to both detect and locate food at a great distance.

Each shark is about 6 inches long. Mounted on a polished burlwood base, the piece stands about 8 inches tall.

The sharks are molded from Pellucida, our proprietary resin compound that resembles but is more durable than Bisque porcelain.
