Green Pregnant Male Seahorse Sculpture 7in Tall on Burlwood

Seahorses are unique in that it is the male that carries the eggs (in a pouch). When the eggs hatch, they emerge as almost perfect miniature seahorses.

This seahorse is molded in our proprietary compound of resins, Pellucida, which is similar to but actually more durable than bisque porcelain.

The seahorse is about 5 inches long. Mounted on a polished burlwood base, the piece stands about 7 inches tall.
