2 Pregnant Orange Male Seahorses Sculpture 7in tall on Burlwood

Few fish are as charming and fascinating as the Seahorse. Part of what makes it unique is that it is the male that carries the eggs (in a pouch). When the eggs hatch, they emerge as almost perfect miniature seahorses.

Here two expectant fathers meet to, perhaps, discuss the challenges of parenthood.

It is molded from, Pellucida, a resin compound developed by the artist that resembles but is more durable than Bisque porcelain. It is then delicately airbrushed.

Mounted on a polished burlwood base, the piece stands about 7 inches tall.
