Seagull Duo Mobile Sculpture (1 Up Wing and 1 Down Wing) Outdoors Version 16in Wingspan

The wingspan of the birds is 16 inches. They are molded in Pellucida, our proprietary compound of resins that is similar but more durable than Bisque porcelain.

This version is modified so that it can be used OUTDOORS.

The birds are painted so as to shield the resin from destructive UV rays. The wires are stainless steel, so they will not rust and the suspending cord is a special 65 pound test fishing line made of a fiber akin to Kevlar (the fiber used in modern body armor). said to last for 5 years outdoors. We suggest, to be safe, it be replaced every three years. Some extra lengths are included.

We do not provide a cross yoke with this version and it is recommended that they be hung far enough apart such that they will not bang into each other under windy conditions.

Each bird is SIGNED and the pair comes with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY.
