This Violetear Hummingbird is suspended by its tongue from a blue flower so that it vibrates with the slightest touch.
The bird's wingspan is just over 4 inches and mounted on its polished burlwood base it stands about 7 inches tall.
It is molded in Pellucida, our proprietary compound of resins.
It is airbrushed/hand painted here in the studio.
