The Doves are approximately three inches in wingspan and two inches from beak tip to tail.

Each of these Doves are, like the ones in the movie, slightly different, one having its wings up and the other down. The wings up Dove necessitates a slightly larger box. So we giving you have the option of a smaller, really cute little box, or a larger one with a larger note that allows for the writing of more words.

These also make charming party or wedding favors, thank-you gifts or indeed a gift for any occasion.

Since these are more likely to be kept as keepsakes, we provide a hanging thread but do not attach it as it detracts somewhat from the look of the birds when the box is first opened and also there are options as to how to hand them - by a loop or single thread.

These delightful little Doves are the ONLY AUTHENTIC DOVES FROM THE HOME ALONE 2 MOVIE.

John Perry created them for the film back in 1992 but retained the COPYRIGHT. So he is the only person who can make reproductions and only these doves can claim to be the Doves of Home Alone 2. Beware of the clunky Chinese-made sort of lookalike copies and wannabees.

They are molded from ‘Pellucida,’ our proprietary compound of resins that looks like porcelain,but unlike porcelain is very strong. They look so delicate and are as light as a feather, but they can withstand being dropped on the floor and other types of abuse.

To appreciate the exquisite sculpting of these little birds, hold them up to a light. They are translucent and you can see the skilled work that went into the carving of the wings – the feathers on one side of the wings perfectly matches the feathers on the other side.
