The hammerhead shark is perhaps the most bizarre of the sharks. Sensory organs widely spaced on its head are thought to aid in detecting the direction of a potential food source.
The shark is about 12 inches long. Mounted on a polished burlwood base, the piece stands about 8 inches high.
It is molded from Pellucida, our proprietary resin compound, then airbrushed.
