Dolphin with Calf Sculpture Airbrushed 5in Long on Burlwood

Although they have been sculpted in a thousand different ways, the sleek beauty of the dolphin still captivates the eye.

This small dolphin and calf piece includes a 3 1/2 inches long mother dolphin. Mounted on a polished burlwood base, the piece stands about 4 inches tall and 5 inches long.

The dolphins are molded from Pellucida, a proprietary compound of resins that resembles but is more durable than Bisque porcelain. They are then airbrushed here in the Studio.
