Violetear Hummingbird Sculpture (Orange Flower) 5in Wingspan on Burlwood

This Violetear Hummingbird is suspended by its tongue from an orange flower so that it moves with the slightest touch.

The bird's wingspan is just over 4 inches and mounted on its polished burlwood base it stands about 7 inches tall.

It is molded in, Pellucida, our proprietary resin compound that resembles but is more durable than Bisque porcelain.

It is airbrushed/hand painted here in the studio.
